When is best time for Mexican Riviera??

Recommended Posts

We're thinking about cruising in March or April of next year. What will the weather be like at that time?

Also, does anyone know when rates change from off-season to prime rate?

This will be a low-cost cruise for us because I just came off the cruise of a lifetime in Alaska and spent quite a bit of money on it, but don't regret it for a minute. It was fabulous and I'm anxious to cruise again.

Thanks for any information you have.

The rainy season and Pacific hurricaine season is late summer and early fall. I prefer winter and early spring in these ports...more whales, and not so hot. I don't think you find "season" rates on most of the cruises to this area, as most ships move to Alaska for the hotter months.

Not usually as big, but you can get enough rain to flood streets and have flash flood dangers. Big flooding in PV a couple of years ago in August. It can really increase the humidity, and make the seas rougher going down the west coast of Baja.
