Can an upgrade be reversed once initially assigned?

If I booked category F guarantee and got assigned a cabin in category C a few weeks later, is it possible to get downgraded between now and the sailing date to another category between C & F? (such as D or E) -Someone told me that any change in cabin after the initial assignment should always be an 'upgrade', can anyone confirm this?

They won't downgrade you, but they may or may not be "done" with you yet. Good luck.

Yes they can and they might. You are guaranteed an "F" or higher. They can change you at any time between now and sailing. They just cannot change you to anyting lower than an "F".

 

You can get changed back to an "F" or upgraded to a "A" - no way of telling......but the choice is theirs!

 

Sorry. It happened to us. Princess said they just put you in a cabin to account for passangers. If they need the cabin they assigned you, they will move you.

This will not happen (being downgraded). If it does - it is most likely due to a TA screwing up somewhere. I have seen this when a TA forgets to make final payment, etc...

 

Don't worry about being downgraded.
