Newbie in a few weeks on Century , any Celebrity secrets?

(1) We prefer dinner in the dining room, as opposed to the more casual cafe and we like second seating for dinner better than first; we found that first seating we felt "rushed" to order, eat and leave. But you will want to decide for yourselves, depending in which type of other activities you may want to partake, and when those activities are happening.

(2) Also, if you have a preference for the type of table you want, get your TA to include that request when booking, but also go to see the maitre d' as soon as possible after boarding to check on the arrangements that have been made for you.

(3) If you like to have a quiet drink and/or dance before/after dinner, you can check out the lounge, Rendezvous Square, near the dining room entrance. The duo in this lounge (on every Celebrity ship we have been on) is really good.

(4) Check out the Vegas-style shows and the individual performers in the Celebrity Theatre. We were on Century Nov.17/05 and both types of shows were great -- the best we have seen on the ships.

(5) Check out some of these threads regarding the bringing of liquor/wine on board. Wine with dinner every night can be expensive and you might find it less so to bring wine on board and pay aa corkage fee. (We have not done this yet.)
