Have u seen price drop less than 4 weeks to cruise?

Just curious what the chances are of rates going down for a cruise in 4 weeks...?

Check out this front page of the message board alone. Go back one page, two pages. You will find at least half a dozen threads of people telling about price drops they are getting on their cruises within that time frame.

Our price drops were at 3, 2 and 1 week prior to sail date. 1st was for $260.00, 2nd was $200.00 and 3rd was for $240.00 per cabin. Will just depend on what they are still trying to sell out. good Luck

We booked our cruise at 4 weeks out when we saw a Junior Suite cruise special. The price remained the same for a week and then all the JS were gone. I think the lower cats. have gone down in price again.

We booked directly with RCI for our 4 nt bahamas cruise on the sovereign 4/2/07. If I see a price drop what do I do? If I call RCI will they drop it for me? I've already paid off the cruise, would they give me money back? Or give it in sea pass credit?

On our cruise last month we had a price drop a few days before we left.

 

All you have to do is call RCI tell them you saw a price drop and they will refund the difference. They will credit your credit card.

Yes we often get emails from Carnival about reduced prices within a few weeks before sailng.

These prices were military rates sent out in an email dated 2/5/07.

Yes. I know I'm driving my TA crazy, but I've received over $1,000 back in the past few weeks (cruising a week from Saturday!) If he was checking pricing for me, I wouldn't have to bug him. I'm just pleasantly persistent.
