Any advise on tour companies in St. Petersburg. Wll be on the Connie Sept 1st. Used to doing independent tours if possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated, also any do's & dont's on that trip also would help.

Heard of Red Oct & Densus. Thanks Natalie

We used DenRus two summers ago and they were wonderful. But many have also used Red October and report great things about them as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either one of them. Be sure to stop by the REVIEWS sections and read some of the Baltics reviews that talk about St. Petersburg. It's pretty amazing!

RED OCTOBER!!!!! We used them and had a tour tailor-made for us. We ate lunch at an ex-ballerina's home, shared vodka with an artist in his garrett, and were able to go to the front of the lines at all palaces, museums, etc. We were sooooo impressed!!!

We used Red October in St. P on our first Baltic cruise on Connie, and DenRus the second time around - you can't go wrong with either tour company. The major advantage they seem to have over ship sponsored tours is that they somehow manage to circumvent the often long lines - a definite plus!
