njoyndride Posted February 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2007 I searched but couldn't find an answer to my question. Immigration will take place in St. Thomas on our 4/14/07 cruise with subsequent stops being San Juan and Labadee. Is Labadee considered a foreign port, wasn't sure since it's a "gated community" LOL and will we go through immigration again in Miami or customs only? cb at sea Posted February 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2007 We've never gone through immigration at any of those stops--only customs when we get back home. Since you're not allowed into Haiti proper--only on the privately leased beach, I don't think it's really a "foreign port".
gadaboutgal Posted February 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2007 Yes, Labadee is a foreign port. It is in Haiti even though RCCL considers it private. You will go through immigrations, again, and customs when returning to the states.
