sexyaznboy Posted March 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2007 I've never been to LA before, and our TA told us the best way is to find a shuttle from LAX to the port (and cheaper than booking it through Celebrity). Do I need to book this in advance on line, he just told us we can find one when we land but I'm a bit nervous about waiting until the last minute. Any advice on the best way to do this? Thanks. Ine Posted March 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2007 You will find "supershuttle" at LAX and no reservations are necessary. www.supershuttle.com
howard6933 Posted March 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2007 There's a shuttle service that I found on the internet and they have a web site, http://www.primetimeshuttle.com and they list their price at $16 per person from LAX to the pier in San Pedro. They also have a toll free number in case you want to call them....1-800-REDVANS (1-800-733-8267. ;)
Rare little britain Posted March 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2007 We used Prime Time and they were good - I have heard stories that SuperShuttle drive round and round the airport to try and fill up before leaving - not sure if that is true..... Mimi and Pops Posted March 12, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2007 We used Karmel ( phone: 800-339-1087) last Oct. for pick-up at airport and return - they were on time, courteous and it was just the two of us on the shuttle. I have also read that other shuttle services circle the airport and wait at the pier until their van is full. They take credit cards - don't remember the exact cost - but we felt it was worth it and would use them again. Highly recommend. :)
