melsdt Posted March 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Just curious, is there any difference between D1, D2, and D3 balcony rooms on the Voyager Class ships. In the write-up on RC's website, they appear to be exactly the same, so I am wondering what the purpose is in having different category numbers? wakelover Posted March 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Location. Midships more expensive and then prices lower the further forward or stern you go etc etc.
Sue L Posted March 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Location. Midships more expensive and then prices lower the further forward or stern you go etc etc. Location true, but not necessarily midship, aft, bow etc. Some of the best hump cabins are E2's not E1's so it does not matter sometimes. helicopter Posted March 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2007 I have never noticed a difference in price from one cabin to another (same cat.) on the same floor, only when going higher or lower (or upgrading to larger cabin).
39august Posted March 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2007 All D catagory cabins are the same, with the exception of handicap cabins of course. The difference is in the location of the cabins. Certain locations are considered more desirable than others.
Snowball Posted March 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Also some categories (suh as E2 and D3) are all double occupancy only - so no triple or quad cabins are in that category.
