Satchel85 Posted March 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2007 The E1,2,3's and the D1,2,3's etc? I'll admit I'm totally lost by it :D Thanks!
Merion_Mom Posted March 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2007 All category E cabins are the same square footage. The 1, 2 or 3 designation refers to location on the ship and whether there are additional berths, and what type those berths are. Same for D category. All the same square footage. Different locations, different bed arrangements.
pepsicruiser Posted March 21, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2007 Just to clarify the D cats. are larger than the E cats. I just booked a Splendour cruise and found that there are no E cats. at all. Guess all the balconies are just D1s and above. I learn something everyday here.

Rare Vacation Nut Posted March 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2007 I have always booked E1 until this latest cruise when I booked D1 - so it was a similar location, just a higher deck, but the cabin was a little larger and it DID make a difference.
