New to Princess, want to book Hawaii

We had booked the last Hawaii cruise for April 16 2008. A 15 day return from LA.

 

We have since changed the booking the Emerald on March 25 2008 - a 10-Day Southern (great itinerary!) - return from Fort Lauderdale.

 

Regarding the Hawaii trip, we just couldn't bear 8 days at sea!

Well, I had lunch with my friend and she says... they don't know yet. There is no information whatsoever on what she will be doing after the 4 day rt cruise in May. Could be they are waiting to see how Hawaii goes this year or it could be something unrelated. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Seriously, this is a great option for families with kids in school! I hope they allocate the Dawn to Hawaii! Just one ship - that's all we ask! :p

Thanks for asking your friend, Kim. We just got the latest issue of the Quarterly (which hubby was carefully examining, so I think he's ready to book if things can all right next week) and I noticed the calendar ended at April 2008.

Not that this will be the ship to do Hawaii, but won't the new Ruby Princess be sailing by that time, or will it be later in the year? I thought the Ruby Princess was going to sail next year (2008). Seeing that she is going to be built in Italy, she won't be in the Pacific to do Hawaii though. I wonder what itinerary she will be doing when she is introduced?
