Why Do YOU Book CC Staterooms?

We're really looking forward to our first CC stateroom on Constellation. However, with basically 2 full decks of CC rooms leaving at the same time does early debarkation really mean anything? Not a big deal for us this time, since we don't have an early flight, but it seems like we'd end up in a shorter line if we just waited until the CC group is off. Am I missing something? tia

It does sound like it could be a bother, doesn't it? I can only relate my own experience, on Summit about two weeks ago, debarking in San Pedro (California). Mom & I were given a letter saying what time we could use the CC departure lounge, and what time we'd be taken off the ship. So, we went down there as stated in the letter, and the second we got down there a crew member escorted the lot of us off the ship immediately, bypassing a longer general debarkation line. We were off the ship and in a taxi a few minutes before the time that was given in our letter! So, for us on that trip, the priority debarkation actually worked just fine! It was so fast that we never got any juice or danish in the CC waiting area!

I had Cc 6143 on Constellation, and while everyone says the cabin is only 1 square foot larger, it sure seemed like more than that.

It's supposedly a foot wider, so that would be 1 sq. ft. multiplied by the length of the cabin (let's use 20 feet for the sake of argument), so it's really more like 20 square feet larger.

Thank you for reporting on the balcony size -- Mom & I have booked 6143's sibling on the opposite side, 6144, for our Millennium trip to Alaska next year. I had been curious as to how big the balcony really was.

Above is our Concierge Class stateroom on Century showing how they've curved the corners to make it easier to get by.

It works great! Thanks again.:D

You're welcome. Nice cabin, by the way;).

My DH are booked for our first cruise with Celebrity, and we are in a CC cabin. Personally, I am super excited to have a cabin with a balcony, and the cc perks are something I am looking forward to.

It brings back memories to the very first time I set foot on a cruise ship, and all of the magic and wonder of that special "first". New wonders, new adventures, new things to see and do.

I think that is what it is going to be like with our CC cabin. And with the tips that I have picked up to make it even better, such as switching the canapes, or asking for special menu items...well, it is going to be just magical.

I so love to cruise, and I hope that I never become blase about it. I hope that the excitement and wonder of cruising always stays with me. To me and my DH, cruising is the ultimate vacation!

;)

I meant they were way more than 50% bigger, as in ">" and not ">=" or "formula_symbol2.gif"

Well, to prove my point I think you're just going to have to pull up a lounge chair, get out the measuring tape and have an in-depth discussion over a couple martini's or glasses of wine!;)

Great Idea! Which cruise shall we pick? Let's make it a long one to make sure we measure correctly;) .

This is my first time on Celebrity Millennium. We are booked in a CC cabin. Couple of questions, what is the extended breakfast menu (is there a copy of on somewhere) , also are the robes big or just regular size robes and is it possible to move the chairs out on the balcony inside and put a chaise lounge out there. appreciate any info on this

I was just on Millennium's sister, Summit. The robes in CC are plush terry cloth, and the ones in our room were sized XL. As far as putting loungers on the balcony, it depends on which CC cabin you have. Some of the cabins have larger balconies than the others, and the larger ones do already have lounge chairs on them.

The extended breakfast menu included things like smoothies, french toast, three different kinds of pancakes (blueberry, regular, or banana), baked bananas, a yogurt/fruit/granola parfait, different kinds of omelets, bagels and smoked salmon...I can't recall what else, I think there was an asparagus omelet...I'm sure someone somewhere has a copy of the menu online :)

One question, is it only on the CC breakfast menu that smoothies are available or can you get them anywhere else on the ship????

Thanks !!!

Here it is, the concierge class breakfast menu (I took two pictures, otherwise the letters became to small. Thats why the freshly squeezed juices and soft rolls are twice on the menu :p) :

OnlyMe, I believe on the M-class ships you can order the smoothies in the AquaSpa café.

Me Too! I showed my DH the picture and he said the same thing. Then he said how cool it will be to have dinner on the balcony too (if it isn't too cold and windy!). Actually, it was the first time I have seen him start to get excited. Me? I've been excited since I booked last year!! :p

I thought the balcony breakfast looked pretty sweet, too, so I showed it to my wife. She started by being impressed by it, but then she pointed out that it looked like the picture was taken in warm waters, and we will be going to Alaska.

It will be late June, though, so I can hope...

Well, I took this picture when we were in the Mediterranean, Villefranche (F).

That food looks great! Are the juice and drinks complimentary or extra?

The freshly squeezed juices and the smoothies (actually, everything on the picture) are complimentary. Check out post nr 36 where I've also put a picture of the cc breakfast menu. The priced items on it are extra, everything else is complimentary.
