LindaKE Posted August 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2004 If it's too rough to tender in, what do you do with the extra day? Just anchor there? Short cruise to nowhere and back?
Rare geoherb Posted August 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2004 Extra day at sea. You won't anchor there and wait unless the captain thinks there is a possibility that tenders will be able to go soon. The ship will just go slower to your next port. Northender Posted August 11, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2004 If you can't get in to PC, IMHO it is not earth shattering. It does have a nice beach and if you are into paddle boats, sailboating, - all the ercursion things, you may be a little upset. To me, another day at sea would be marvelous. If the clamshells show up for our trip, I would think about renting one, other than that, I need shade which means going to the back part. Lounge chairs are nice and comfy and the bbq is ok. The day we were there was very, very hot with not much of a breeze. Other cruisers do enjoy it tho.
donna5 Posted August 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2004 In april they gave everyone a $15.00 credit(I guess to buy the Princess Cay Shirt so you could pretend you where there.)

I think that may be the Bahamas' port tax they are returning to you for not stopping at their island.
donna5 Posted August 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2004 bruce, That's true. That is all we got. If they don't stop at a scheduled port you normally get those fees back. But nothing else.
