overthesea Posted April 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2004 Does anyone know if there are sufficient cabs available post cruise or do I need to prebook a cab. If so, any suggestions. Thanks.
woodspines Posted April 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2004 I would also like to know the cost of cab fare to/from the airport to the pier.
Sandra Gail Posted April 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2004 Cabs were more than plentiful, helpful drivers. If I remember correctly, I think it was about $25 to airport.
Cartib Posted April 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2004 There is a $20 pp shuttle bus from the pier to the airport.

cruisecontroller Posted April 19, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 19, 2004 Maybe I'm missing something here. What is the benefit of the shuttle at $40 for two people verses a taxi for $25 (plus tip)? DALLIEDOG Posted April 19, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 19, 2004 We sailed out of Seattle twice the past two years aboard the Sky. The first time we took the shuttle and the second year we took a cab.I would highly recommend the cab, as mentioned it's about $25-$30 and more important you don't have to wait for the shuttle, especially upon arrival you can get to the ship ASAP while you might wait for your turn in line for the shuttle like we did for over 1 1/2 hours.(never again)
sboh Posted April 20, 2004 #11 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Does anyone know if there will be cab vans at the port? There are four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) and I'm not sure we'll fit in a regular cab w/luggage.
Sandra Gail Posted April 21, 2004 #12 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Don't know about cab vans but four of us (adults) shared cab. Each with one large suitcase and each had a backpack or tote bag.
