Nitra Posted May 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2007 The vibration happens when they put on the brakes, that is what I call it. Basically when they are slowing down the ship you can tell, the vibration gets very noticiable. Otherwise I dont notice it. If the ship is full steam ahead, it is smooth going. 39august Posted May 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2007 It's been a few years since we were in an aft cabin on Rhapsody, so perhaps the vibration is not constant per Nitra's explanation. But we experienced almost constant vibration. We would joke about the mirrors rattling! It certainly didn't ruin our cruise and we loved the wonderful corner aft huge balcony. But we did shake, rattle and roll.
cb at sea Posted May 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2007 We feel vibration even on Radiance class ships. And, more erratic motion than in the middle of the ship. It depends on your tolerance, how much it will affect you.
