engine noise/vibration on Rhapsody

The vibration happens when they put on the brakes, that is what I call it. Basically when they are slowing down the ship you can tell, the vibration gets very noticiable. Otherwise I dont notice it. If the ship is full steam ahead, it is smooth going.

It's been a few years since we were in an aft cabin on Rhapsody, so perhaps the vibration is not constant per Nitra's explanation. But we experienced almost constant vibration. We would joke about the mirrors rattling! It certainly didn't ruin our cruise and we loved the wonderful corner aft huge balcony. But we did shake, rattle and roll.
