Price drop procedure

Just checked to see if there was a price drop for June 16th Cruise. There is a drop of more than $200.00. We booked thru a travel agent. How do we go about getting a credit? Do they have to give it to you? What if TA is uncooperative?:confused:

The only way you can get it is to have your TA call RCL and get the credit applied. If the TA refuses, there isn't anything you can do about it.

Call your TA and inquire. Since you booked with a TA, RCCL will not discuss this with you. As long as it is not a Happy Hour special, you should be entitled to the price drop. However, many people have been posting about uncooperative TAs who are unwilling to honor the price drop. Apparently, TAs don't HAVE to give you the price drop, but it would be bad business not to.

As a note for any future bookings, when booked directly with RCCL, they will honor a price drop right up until sailing time.

Happy Hour is now called Sales Event, just so you know, if you saw your cruise in the specials listed on RCI's site and its the first special called Sales Event, that is for new bookings only and you cannot get that price drop.
