Oosterdam to SEA airport

What is the best way to go to SEA airport from the ship-taxis or have a towncar service waiting? If we use a towncar service, which one? Thanks.:)

It can be a half-hour trip or longer, depending on traffic. A taxi may be a tad high. The HAL transfer may be a fair deal for you. Otherwise, see what car services would charge you. It will probably be $60 or so for two. (Get some fellow-cruisers to join you and the per-person price drops.)

Last year we used "Already There Town Car" to go from the airport to the Downtown Sheraton. They do all transfers. Our particular fare was only $5 more than a Taxi. Now do keep in mind that prices will have gone up for limos and taxis because of gasoline. We were very pleased with them and would not hesitate to use them again.

If this is true, we were taken for a ride. What's the source of your information. I am not doubting you. It just differs from our most recent experience.

Inquiring minds need to know. I have to get an 84 yr old dad to the airport, Pier 30 to 'SEATAC. $25 right? There will be 4 of us. $25 each or total cost? ;)

I do not think it practical for 4 people and all their luggage to take a single taxi. You might be more comfortable in a private town car, per post #3.

 

The taxi ran us about $35, plus tip for three of us. (We had only one suitcase)

Hey There,

We were planning to use the express vans last week when we left, but what was supposed to be a 20 minute wait turned out to be much longer. We finally ended up taking a taxi for 35.00 including tip. We had 4 people, 4 suitcases, a garment bag, and 4 carry ons.

Cruised Oosterdam 5-19. We TWO flew in Seatac night before and stayed at Hilton (Priceline $50). Seattle Express took us to pier for $10 each. They shuttled up back in front of Pier 30 for $14 each to get to our 12:35p flight. How else are we gonna afford our second cruise this year

We have been back a month now, but when we got off the Oosterdam last May 19th, we went outside the cruise terminal to where the taxis pick up passengers and the four of us got in a taxi ( with six medium size luggages and a garnment bag which fit in the trunk). My friend's husband is 6'5 so he sat in the front seat. My friend, DH, and I sat in the back. Our fare from Dock 30 to SeaTac was $ 25.00 plus tip. There was no traffic.

I really wonder if we got taken for a ride with our taxi fare. We too did not encounter any traffic but this can vary by timing, events and ballgames.
