Ballroom dancing...

My 16 yr old daughter loves ballroom dancing and took a class last summer...does anyone know if the ships still offer ballroom classes? It would be such fun for her.:)

I think nearly all of them offer a few classes from the production crew, but if you're really lucky, you'll have dance instructors onboard. Our last Radiance cruise had two ballroom dance instructors onboard that gave classes pretty much every other day. It was a lot of fun. Good luck with it, my wife and I love to dance on the ships, dancing on the marble landings of Grandeur's Centrum is truly fabulous, and the bands have been great, including taking requests.

On the Navigator of the Seas, there is a show called Ballroom Dancing--- it's entertaining. THere are 2 professional ballroom dancers that give lessons and classes.

they had lesson on brilliance a few years back. I found out that I really do have 2 left feet, as I couldn't master the simplest steps.

I don't remember them on any 5 night or less cruises. Which

ship will you be on?

They have salsa classes and beginning ballroom even on the 3-night Monarch cruises, so I'm sure there will be something offered no matter which ship you're on. We're looking forward to kicking up our heels on the Jewel in just under 3 weeks!

We were on the Radiance for the 7-night Western Caribbean last August. There was a couple from Canada (he was a principal and she was a teacher) who are employed by RCCL during the off-school months to promote ballroom dancing and give classes.
