drpack Posted June 25, 2007 #26 Share Posted June 25, 2007 My TA sent me a copy of the TA Booking Confirmation for my booking showing the OBC he gave me even though it doesn't show in My Princess. It actually shows up as an agent gift.
starfamily Posted June 25, 2007 #27 Share Posted June 25, 2007 In order to compete with the big boys if I don't have group space blocked (Where you can use TC's towards and on board credit) I purchase one on my personal credit card and send it as a gift. The client does not see it on their documents, ( I have forwarded the amenity receipt a head of time to one who didn't believe I was actually going to do it so that he had proof) anyhow when they get in their cabin a slip is there saying they have a gift from me of X amount in ship board credit. I beleive they have to sign for it too proving they received it. The room steward brings them a slip.

Plant Posted June 26, 2007 #29 Share Posted June 26, 2007 OK I found out how I got the $75.00 off. It was from 3 referrals.:) Bill Hey Bill, Glad you figured it out! I don't know about referrals, since most of our friends don't want to cruise :( . The friends who do want to cruise know about the FCC, so we'll probably never have any referrals. From what I understand, the FCC ranges from $25.00 to $100.00 depending on the category and the length of the cruise you book. On our last Princess cruise we put down a $200.00 deposit ($100.00 each), for any cruise on Princess in the next four years, and got $100.00 OBC for booking a mini-suite on our next cruise. We just stumbled into the referals. We were at a Memorial barbecue when I mentioned I was going on the Feb 3rd cruise on the caribbean Princess so I could watch the Super Bowl. Before I knew it we had 7 other people booked. Most are first timers but booked before i could do the referals. It works for me! Bill
