China River cruise

Has anyone gone to China in early NOvember? What is the weather like? Is it very cold?

We went in November and it was quite nice. The only place that was cold was Beijing. It had snowed a day or two earlier, but was all gone. The rest of the trip was quite mild and pleasant.

We are booked on the Nov 6 cruise. I would rather have cold than hot weather, especially when climbing the Great Wall. I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We have A/C for the hot humid weather. Schools start in early August here. It's the only way to get the kids out of the house in August and early September.

We will take our water proof wind pants from our Alaska trip to China. Take up little room. I usually do fine in the cold if I stay dry and use wind stop outer wear.
