Dry Dock ~ Whisper

When is the Whisper going into dry dock? We are crusing November 9th.

I heard it was in October. Call Silversea office in Florida- and they will tell you exact dates

Should be Oct 26 till Nov 3. 4738 ends in Venice on Oct 26 and 4739 only sails from Venice on Nov 4. Up till then (and thereafter) no gap in the cruise schedule.

I too am on the November 9th Rome to Athens on the Whisper. What sort of things should I keep my eye out for related to the dry dock? Carpet? Linens?

Seriously, you should see a redecorated ship with lots of fresh paints, new/clean carpets, etc. :p

I have had the exercise equipment w/ personal TV. They have them at Half Moon in Jamaica. Having satellite TV of my own caused me to go every day. Since the ships don't get many channels, how useful is this? Anyway, I'm anxious for any updates.

What about the Cloud and the Wind. Those ships are significantly older than the Shadow and Whisper and need the enhancements that much more. Anyone know if they will be getting them?

Hi, I would also be very interested to hear about the Cloud. We have a cruise planned on her over the Christmas-New Year holidays and I have heard that she was looking a bit "tired". Hope this isn't true - but if it is, hope she is getting refurbished!

Whoo-Hoo, The Whisper will be all dressed up and ready for the big dance.

This will be our first SS voyage and are really looking forward to the experience. It's encouraging to see some v. positive reviews about SS lately... Can't Wait!
