Soda Question for Kids

Recommended Posts

On another cruise line they provide free sodas to the kids in the dining room, does RCCL do this?

How much is a kids soda card and does it apply to kids who to "kids" who are 15?

Sodas are free to anyone in the dining room with the soda card, otherwise there is a charge -- even for children.

I think the soda card prices are as follows:
Children up to 18 years are $4 per day + 15% gratuity to total card cost.
Adults, age 18 and over are $6 per day + 15% gratuity to total card cost.

Other readers, please chime in if I have this wrong.

Thanks!

From what I've read, kids' soda cards are $4/day (charged for the full length of the cruise) and adults' cards are $6/day. Both cards also get a 15% gratuity charge added at the time of purchase, so for a 7 day cruise, it'd be $32.20 for kids and $48.30 for adults.

Lowcountrygal got the information in one minute before me! :D

Those are the correct prices.
We also got served in the dining room. We showed our cards the first night and the sodas were just there every night after that.

You can also get orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and apple juice at other times during the day.

They basically had coke, diet coke, sprite.
My kids had a lot of ginger ale too!
Then they discovered they could get Shirley temples as well with the soda card! They stuck with those the rest of the trip.

On another thread about Champagne cards someone posted that tax is added to the total price and that was due to being in a US port. If we are leaving from NJ does that mean that if I buy the cards when we first board the ship in port tax is added on to the price of the cards?
