Mercury CC 1200 cabin

I'm booked in CC Cabin 1200 on the Mercury and am a bit concerned about noise. Anyone know how the noise is with this cabin?

We were in 1200 on an Alaska cruise and had no problems. It was a great and convenient location. Loved the size of the veranda.

Thanks for the reply! I love the size of the verandah too! Great to know that the cabin wasn't noisy.

We've been in 1200's and the 1240's.

 

We love them both. Little to no noise from the elevators. the only noise we encountered was when we were on either the verandas. The 1240's have slanted verandas where people on deck can look around and see you. The 1200 are blocked completely from the sides.

 

You can hear the joggers some mornings, but we found the biggest distraction was people trying to get a signal for their cell phones up there constantly, and yelling into their phones, or turning up their obnoxious ring tones.

You will get more noise from the pool deck than from the jogging track or elevators but only when the band is playing. The four CC cabins on the Mercury and Galaxy, 1200, 1201,1240 and 1241 have been some of the most sought out cabins since the ships came out and they were 2A cabins. That in itself says alot about the cabins. If you can get it, take it as soon as possible as it will be gone soon.

I never noticed any noise from the elevators and minimal from the pool deck. It's a great location.
