Does RCCL offer cruise specials while on board?

Does RCCL offer cruise specials while on board? When we sailed Disney we were offered a discounted cruise if we booked while on the ship. It was a pretty good deal. Since RCCL will not be doing discounts through TA's this would be a nice gesture. Thanks.

The only thing I'm aware of is the onboard credit you'll get for the cruise you book. For instance, we booked our next 7 night cruise while onboard our last cruise. We received a $100 stateroom credit for the sailing we booked.

We have booked several cruises while on board. We get $200 off of a balcony room. Plus the $100 on bord credit. Plus you get to pick the cabin.

Is the $200 off balcony only offered to Diamond C & A members?

I believe it is. We booked a Cat. JS cabin and received no discount. We are Gold C&A members. If we were Platinum members, I believe we would have recieved an additional $100 disount off the cabin.

I think each passenger gets a $100 discount on a balcony or higher once you reach Platinum status. I think we just got $200 our upcoming Radiance cruise. DH did the work, so I'm not sure...

Sometimes they offer deals if you sail by a certain date. I booked one 2 yrs ago while I was on board, to sail again like 6 months later and ended up only paying 50 dollars a day for the cruise. That was for an inside. Outsides were going for like 70 a day and Balcony cabins for like 90 a day or something like that. For my single cabin, inside I paid a little over 500 for the entire week total including the single supplement, port and taxes.

 

Those deals are not often but you can get them. I have 4 cabins on the cruise in October where the people booked on board last October and they got not only a nice discount but each cabin got an onboard credit. The discount worked out to be about 200 a cabin, which is more than the CnA discount. They also have been able to apply any CnA coupons they have and get further discounts.
