We are sailing on the Navigator in Oct, never met Carlos before or heard much about him, any info appreciated, also latest info on the Navigator ref Food, Entertainment etc.

 

Tom what a wonderful guy! We had the pleasure of Carlos on our Navigator cruise awile back...he is outstanding! I never wanted for anything. I asked for beer in our stateroom to on ice when we arrived and other wines and such for a little get together for sailaway and he came through...our son loved him...always letting him get diffrent movies...he always knew exactly what we wanted drink wise...he made sure we had tender tickets and ice rink tickets...etc. I couldnt ask for a better concierge...he was the best in our opinion oh and all of our cruise mates from CC boards love him too! Tell him Kim, Andy, Sam said Hello...we are cruisinf NOS again in 2010 hopefully he will be there. Happy traveling and sailing!

As of July, Julian said he was leaving Enchantment at the end of August, taking four months off, and getting married in October. I don't know who will be taking the spot while he's off.

Hi Everyone:

 

Does anyone know if Ricky will be on the Explorer of the Seas on September 6, 2008 - I heard a rumor is will be getting off in August for vacation. We think he is the greatest.

Ricky left on Aug 23rd. Ricardo Ugalde is the replacement.

I agree Ricky was the best and he will be missed very much.

Ricardo was given high praises by Ricky so I am very sure he

will be very good also.

Is Carmen the only person in the lounge and how long will she be there? Doe she have an assistant? Someone had said on another post that the Conceirge was the only person there without any assistant. Just wondering if that was true.

We just got off Explorer and Ricardo was just great!

He's very friendly, attentive to your needs, and a pleasure to converse with.

Those sailing with him in the future will not be disappointed.

He gets very high marks from us!
