My wife and i are looking at a cruise to the Mexican Riviera but we're unsure what time of year would be the best time to go. we're thinking between November and April the rest of the year is really busy for me. is there anyone that can help us with this. we took a cruise last year for our honeymoon in the Western Caribbean and loved it the bug bit us and now we're hooked. any help would be very appreciated. thanks in advance.

we went in november, it was nice, but there was a hurricane off the coast by acapulco so the water was rough

we went in jan also which was perfect,, not too hot or humid. and it was whale season,, big plus...

i think anytime between nov- march

the other months are HOT HOT HOT

we prefer jan and feb

Between November and April is the best time of the year. It is the dry season and not humid or too hot.

From Mid December till end of March you can make whale-watchtours as the big humpbackwhales will be around P. Vallarta.

I would guess that the "best time" is when the most ships are traveling to Mexico......that is the best time weather wise........but probably not the best time "crowd" wise.

We prefer to travel when all the kids are in school....that's one of our main criteria......and yours may be different........price / crowds at ports / kids / weather........each will be a different time.....;)

Buenas Tardes Amigos!

Is there NOT a good time for the Mexican Riviera? I guess during the rainy season it might not be optimum! My wife and I went last year at the end of October, beginning of November. We had no rain and the weather was hot and humid, in the 90's.

If you are looking for cooler temps., then you might want to go in December/January. However, the price goes up:( !

In any case, take your water, a sweatband, and dress comfortably!

Enjoy!

Hey thank you to all of you who gave me some insight to the weather and crowds. This has helped a lot in making a decision on what time of year might be the time we want to go. We’re looking at going in about a year or sooner not sure when though. Again thank you for you help with this.
