Where is the easiest place to return a rental car prior to cruise at Port Everglades?

The easist place is right at the Fort Lauderdale Airport. You can then take the shuttle over to the Cruise Ship Terminal.

If you rent from Budget you can drop it off at their location in the Quay Shopping Plaza on SE 17th Street. They'll shuttle you to the port from there. Thrifty has a location outside the main entrance to the port on Miami Road. They'll drop you off at the port as well. Otherwise the dozen or so car rental agencies under one roof at the Ft Lauderdale Airport should suit your needs. ;)
