Silly Zuiderdam Deckplan Question...

It's probably meaningless, but I'm intrigued nontheless... I have searched CC, HAL and Google and can't find an answer.

 

In the deckplan on the main deck just forward of the Shore Excursions desk is a small room that shows as Pantry.

 

What is it? The deckplans are the only place I have found a reference to it!

And just to add to your bewilderment, on the Noordam and Westerdam plans it's not marked as anything! :D In December I'll look! :)

If you see pantry, that's the cabin stewards service/stock room.

 

 

They keep supplies in there, as well as an ice machine ... linens ... printed matter ... fruit ... etc.

Hi, Vic. Beautiful ship, the best-ever service. Ports were great and being in the Polar Ice Cap---500 miles from the North Pole---was a kick.

I did a whole Happy Wanderer thread; then a formal review at the end of it. You can still read it! :)
