Is Brandon Beach on Carlisle Bay? ===> No.

Is the water and sand as beautiful as that shown in the photos of Carlisle? ===> Not quite.

Lastly, are there chair and umbrella rentals at Brandon? ===> Not sure.

Brandon's Beach is North of where your ship will be docked

Carlisle Bay is in the other direction - South Easterly

and a bit farther away.

The beach sand is much the same but

No, Brandon's water colour is not as cute as Carlisle Bay.

It has to do with the whiteness/or-not of the sand bottom

and Brandon's just isn't as clear.

I'm not sure about the umbrellas and chairs situation at Brandons

maybe someone else who's been can help.

There's two commercial places at Brandons (maybe more?)

that cater to visitors along that beach..

Weisers' at the end closest to the Port

and Malibu at the other end - farther away but not by much.

Here's 2 photos I took,

standing on the top deck of Harbour Master

when we stopped after lunch

to snorkel, waterslide, swim and jetski!

It's not Carlisle Bay,mind you

but it's pretty much the same kinda water color you'll find

all along the West Coast.

It's St.Albans Bay

How far is "Lobster Alive" from the waterfront cafe? ===> 300 yards?

Can we walk it? ===> Yes, definitely!

When you come up the steps from Waterfront, in the direction of the big ARCH

ask any of the vendors there to point out Boatyard's bright yellow front wall.

Head up Bay St. in that direction, and keep walking about 30-40 yards past Boatyard's entrance

where you'll see a break in the buildings, offering a view of the sea

(that's Carlisle Bay)

and on the other side of that small window-to-the-sea is Lobster Alive.

Look out for THIS SIGN on the road

and you'll know you're there!
