Can you check for OBC at the RC web site?

Hi All,

 

When you review your reservation is there a way to see if OBC has been associated with your cruise? We have both TA OBC and the stock OBC. I would like to check to see if it has been put in our account.

No you can't. It sounds like you booked through a TA, so of all of your accounting paperwork has to come from your TA. Those of us that booked directly through the cruiseline are able to request an itemized statement, which shows OBC.....but of course there is nothing (OBC or perks) from a TA. :D :D :D

No easy way to check, that I know of. I alway expect that when I get onboard, it will not be there. However, when I have had it (3 or 4 times), it has always been there.

bring written proof that you are supposed to get the obc's- if they do not show up on sea pass acct by day 2 , go down to the guest relations desk and they can help you get it worked out- good luck and have a nice cruise

With my onboard credit from the visa card I was able to call the crown and ancor society and they were able to confirm my OBC was there.

Make sure you bring any paperwork you have showing your onboard credits. They are not always put in unless you tell them. Most of the time there is no problem but the one time you can't prove it, they will be missing.

I just called Crown & Anchor (1888-305-4626) to apply a second OBC and was told to call back within 48 to 72 hours to check that it was applied.

I called in my first one 2 days ago and was told today that it is on my account.

I was told they really like to have the paper certificate 14 days before sailing for record keeping. I just got the # from BOA today and the cert probably won't come for 2 weeks (that is how long it took for the first one to arrive)

Thanks everyone! I wanted to be sure I wasn't missing some obscure way to check on the website. You have confirmed there isn't. I sent an e-mail to my TA to see if he can check but I'll likely bring the paperwork also just in case.

I don't know about OBC but my cruise record shows prepaid gratituties for my Christmas cruise put there by the online TA I booked with.

I was given a RCL gift certificate back in February, I went online and applied it as OBC. Do they need me to actually mail them the paper copy I have?

If you got a message it was applied, you are good. Bring the hard copy along on the cruise though.

We have many OBC's/discounts on our upcoming Empress cruise: Booking on Board, shareholder, VISA, Platinum balcony, C&A coupon, all totalling $900. I called C&A last week and asked about each item. Initially there was a little confusion, but they e-mailed me back and confirmed everything. We will take a copy of that e-mail with us, just in case. However, with all of these OBC's/discounts, we have never had a problem.

If you booked through the cruiseline, you can request an invoice in .pdf format which will show credits.
