Those lucky ones who get an upsell call: What shows up on caller ID

I'm not sure where NCL 'Headquarters' are and am wondering what shows up; especially the area code. Or does nothing show up? I sure don't want to miss that call! ;)

Had to try to answer, since 98 people have looked at your post and no one has answered...:rolleyes:

 

It won't be an unknown caller or blocked call -- it will come from Arizona (sorry, don't remember the area code)...

Sometime in the past week, someone posted about an NCL upsell and said the call showed up as "Unknown Caller" on their phone. It might depend on your service provider.

 

To the OP - I just wanted to make sure that you know that if you book with a TA (not NCL directly) that NCL would call your TA, who would then call you.

The area code will be480 and the caller ID will display Norwegian. At least that is what is showing on my caller ID.

I have gotten nice upsell offers via e-mail. I have gotten super-duper last minute via telephone with something like private caller being the ID. They were going through a list and there was no thinking about it or calling back.

"Out of Area" showed on my caller ID and the call came in around 10:00AM MST. It was a little over 2 weeks prior to my sail date.

Mine came in as "Unavailable". First thing in the morning Pacific time. Almost 10 WEEKS prior to the cruise. I was surprised they started calling that long before the cruise, but maybe they did because it's a holiday sailing.

my call came today from 480 324 5500 - cruise is 3 weeks away. previously though I had called almost every week regarding an upgrade as i had booked with ncl directly -but they kept brushing me off. in my opinion, it doesnt hurt to call -OV to balc $250 more total
