On board credit of $200

Your saying that you received your coupon. If it's for $200.00 OBC you should have received either 2 coupons (1 15,000 point coupon and 1 5,000 point coupon) or 4 coupons (4 5,000 point coupons) for a total of 20,000 points.

You then mail the coupons to the C&A Society in Wichita, Kansas and they will then be applied to your reservation.

It won't happen on your cruise tomorrow.

I applied and got the RCCl credit card the other week got my statement last week and with the points showing I called Bank of America and ordered the on board credit vouchersm the operator gave me the vouchers numbers I then called RCCL and applied them to my account they said when I receive the vouchers in the mail to mail them in. RCCL also said that even if they do not receive them till after my cruise it will not be a problem. If you search the forum aboout RCCL credit card you will see other replies concerning this issue.

I got my first statement about 7 or 8 days ago and called about the same time for the coupons, the Bank of America rep gave the the voucher number, then I called RCCL to have them apply it to my account, I believe they said I would receive the paper vouchers in 7 to 10 days I did not receive them yet. After I receive them I am suppose to mail them to the address on the back. RCCL said that if they receive after my cruise it would not be a problem. They have the voucher numbers so I am sure they will just reference it with their Visa department, I even wonder why they even send out a paper voucher at all.

I was told only the main office in Kansas will apply the coupons. I mailed mine certified mail and still had to contact Crown and Anchor on my own to make sure they had been applied - weeks in advance. I had already missed the boat once because the time I booked did not allow sufficient time to process all the paperwork.

Then another time I was told I only needed to have the coupon number and call it in to the main office if I didn't recieve the actual coupons in time. Too many inconsistencies.

Either way, our happy shopper won't be so happy when she boards. Guest relations on board doesn't get involved. Maybe take it up with the Crown and Anchor crew, since they push the credit card for future sales.

i leave on sunday and the credit card company told me i'll be able to use it on this cruise.

My aunt has $150 for Freedom, and she called 2 weeks ago. That was 4 weeks prior, not the standard 6 weeks, but they told her she would have it on the ship. So we will see, but she is the kind of person that if something doesn't go right, she is the first one to complain. We will see.

I did the exact same thing. I booked a last minute cruise, called MBNA (before merger with Bank of America). They gave me the certificate number over the phone. I then called RCI and gave them the certificate number over the phone. They told me when we receive the voucher in the mail after the cruise to mail it to them. We got on the cruise and received the OBC with no hassles. When we returned, we mailed the voucher to RCI just as they instructed us to. No problem, no unhappy people on that cruise.

What offer did you guys apply under? I thought that the offer that I got in the mail was for 2500 bonus points--that's only 1/2 of what you need to get a $50 obc. I wasn't impressed with the offer.

It is on the RCI website- offer is now 15,000 points, good for $150 OBC or $150 off your next cruise- I would say it has been there about a month now

I can tell you that you can both use your certificates for onboard credit, because you can use as many as you want, and the booking doesn't have to be in your name to use the certificates. I just applied for a card in my name to get the new offer, but I didn't get an instant answer. So don't know if they will give me a card yet. My husband has had a card for a few years now.

We're still waiting for our first statement but yes we got the 15,000 points too. so we will have $150 on board credit plus our shareholder credit plus probably a gift certificate from family since I dropped a broad hint for Christmas complete with our reservation number :) Now if we could just stay out of the casino the actual onboard statement won't be frightening. (yeah, right.........)
