Caribe Deck on Coral Princess

Hello Everyone,

 

I have just booked the 3/16/08 Coral Princess to the Panama Canal. I have

AB category aft and just noticed that AA category has some larger looking

cabins (mini-suites) C416, C417, C503. Has anyone stayed in either of these

cabins? If so, can you elaborate about cabin size and balcony?

I too am wondering the same thing. I booked 10/2/08 Panama Canal and I am on Caribe C505. I sailed on the Star last December and LOVED my cabin on Caribe so I went for it again. I know the ships are very different in size so any info would be greatly appreciated!

They are not larger but next to a regular balcony cabin so it looks that way. They are a standard size mini. :)

I have not been in those cabins but have been on the Caribe Deck and will continue to book that Deck, yet we book Mid Ship.

I will be in C417 in November...can't tell you much until then. :)

We were on the Sun Princess April 2006 and rechecked our rooms, C 425. But then she is a smaller ship then the Coral and alot older. Nice location, 2 doors away from the laundry room

Balconies are much smaller. The mini suites are in the "jut out" sections on the coral.

I'd forgo the mini, and just take a reg balcony. We were in C311 and loved the size of the balcony

My brother in law and sister in law are doing the 1/16/08 Panama Canal cruise with us. They are C218 and we are C223. Was told by my travel agent that they are great rooms and balconies slightly larger. Hope thats true. Also balcony on Caribe is partially covered...sort of best of both worlds. Cannot wait...am counting the days.;)

I was in C226 in June, and we found the mini to be a good size for the 4 of us.

Was in c-416 in September and the mini suite is nice but the balconies are less than half the norn. You have a forword view and side view. I would go for the balcony room or a mini other than the bumpout.
