shayelle Posted September 27, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2007 We are sailing March 7 for 10 days on the Galaxy out of San Juan. Is a 10:00am flight cutting it too close? We've never had an early flight before on our other cruises(out of FL), we usually do about 2:00pm. I've only sailed out of San Juan once and it was 16 years ago so I don't remember what it's like. The next flight is at 1:20 but I know I will be anxious to get home to my kids (5 and 7). If we get on the 10:00am I will be able to see them before bed that night. What do you think? Rare Lois R Posted September 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2007 Hi, we are on the same sailing:) I would take the 1:20 without a doubt! 10am...too early in my judgement. You just never know.....will immigration go smoothly? Will the ship be in at the time its supposed to be? I would definitely take the 1:20 flight. Come over to the Roll Call and say hello:D
Longboysfan Posted September 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2007 You are cutting it too close with the airport a bit away from the pier. If it was FLL then you could do it. But other than Bayonne to Newark or Port Everglades to FLL - No can do.
OVgirl Posted September 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2007 Last February, my brother had cruiseair from X. His flight was at 950am. He made it with no problems, but then it was Celebrity's responsibility to get him to the airport. If I was booking my own air I would not take that chance.
