fosse7 Posted September 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2007 Good heavens.. every time I come to this board you make me want to go shopping... well, today I couldn't stand it. All this talk of shoes and dresses- I broke down and bought a pair of shoes. SUCH a bad influence on me! Anyone ever use zappos.com? I am beginning to think they are God's gift to me. DH, however, doesn't quite share my sentiment

KC_fn Posted September 30, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2007 Holy cow! I just went to zappos.com for the first time. In addition to being confusingly laid out (how the heck do I know what brand I want?), the lines that I sampled were amazingly high priced. GCurry Posted September 30, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2007 Here are some additional sites, many offer free shipping which cuts the price down. If you have a pretty standard size you can buy them cheaper locally, if however, you or your DH are like myself with a man's 12 narrow, then you would shop these sites a lot as you won't find them locally. I shop Zappo's & BA Mason too, and other sites for dance or formal shoes which is really getting specific.. http://www.shoebuy.com/mens-shoes.htm http://www.onlineshoes.com/ http://www.shoes.com/shop/womens.asp
Rare cruisemom42 Posted September 30, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2007 Holy cow! I just went to zappos.com for the first time. In addition to being confusingly laid out (how the heck do I know what brand I want?), the lines that I sampled were amazingly high priced. You can search by color, heel height, and/or style -- don't have to look by brand. I have found a few good deals on the site, but for the most part I would use it only to purchase a shoe I already had or one where I know the brand fits me well. Or something I just can't find locally.
