A Day in Fort Lauderdale w/o Car

We are cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale in January and when we get back, our plane does not leave until about 8 PM. We do not plan to rent a car for the day. Any suggestions as to how to kill part of a day would be appreciated.

We plan to use the water taxi to see the area. You can also use the Sun Trolley to get around. It's only 50 cents per ride. No need for a car.

Will you have your luggage with you?

That might make traveling around Fort Lauderdale by Trolley a bit difficult....

You could always take the Everglades tour organised by the ship,if that's something that would interest you. They drop you off at the airport after.

Not sure if FLL has such a thing as left luggage lockers anymore??,and you can't check your luggage until 3-4 hr prior to your flight.
