Birthday celebration ideas

You could surprise them with a dinner reservation in one of the specialty dining rooms. Or you could find a shore excursion they would like and book it for them. See if your cruise line has cocktail cards or wine cards - they make nice gifts.

My daughter(16 at the time) made a small sign "Today's my Birthday!" and gently patted him on the back to stick it to his shirt. He caught on after the 4th random person told him Happy Birthday. I'm not suggesting this idea, just thought I'd relay our little trick on my husband. He's always playing tricks on us - we still owe him.

Find a print shop near your home and ask them for a plain sheet of white paper large enough to cover the outside door. Write a message on it asking everyone who passes to leave a message wishing your friends a birthday greetings (along with their names and where they are from). Just hang a Sharpie attached to a string from the door knob so people won't have to look for a pen to write with.
