hlv71 Posted October 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Ok I've looked and I can't seem to find it but are they're irons in the rooms or can you get one?
nancez Posted October 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2007 no irons in the rooms and you can not get one from your room steward...you have to have laundry services press your clothes.
Cincy-David Posted October 26, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2007 There are no irons anywhere and they don't recommend that you bring one as they are a fire threat. You can have all items pressed by the dry cleaning service for a very reasonable rate. Example - Mans shirt is only $1.50 to press. I sometimes take a small portable steamer, but the wait is not worth the effort, just pay the cleaners the small fee and have a great time. cb at sea Posted October 26, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2007 If you're cruising in the Caribbean, there will be so much humidity, that ironing doesn't do much good! Iron before you leave home, and hope for the best! Your clothes will look just like everyone else's! Slightly rumpled!
Merion_Mom Posted October 26, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Irons are forbidden (they are a fire hazard) and if they are spotted in your luggage, will be confiscated. The laundry prices, both full and press only, are on RC's website.
iheartbda Posted October 26, 2007 #6 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Along with irons not permitted a cruise is a vacation, don't even consider ironing.:) Seems like everyone's clothes come out looking just fine no matter how they pack, have never seen anyone look like a bag of wrinkles. MJL Posted October 26, 2007 #8 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Bring some Downy Wrinkle Release That's what we did and we got by. My wife claims that Fabreeze is pratically just as good. MJL
