Yes, but the safes on Enchantment require a card with a magnetic strip. A lot of people recommend bringing a used up gift card, etc. so that you don't have to carry your real credit card around with you.

Last April I did not have to do that in my room safe.

HB - I love your signature! But I've gotta ask..why "The shortest cruise in history"? There has to be a good story behind that. And, how did you manage to go on your son's honeymoon?

Must be some variation in the all the cabins then. Our aft JS had the mag stripe type in it two weeks ago.

We were in 8576 (new section) just last week and had the kind of safe where you had to swipe a card.

I've been in that suite. GREAT balcony. You'll love it. The closet it great, too. You can make a little bed on the lower shelf and have a little kid sleep in there - if you wanted to.

 

We had a card swiping safe as we've had in all 3 JS cabins we've had on Enchantment. I wonder if they replace them with a keypad safe as they wear out. I know safes last a long time but like everything, they do fail eventually.
