GP Cruiser Posted November 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2007 We have a inside cabin on deck 7, and I would like to know if there is a safe ? Thank You
lori450 Posted November 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2007 Yes, but the safes on Enchantment require a card with a magnetic strip. A lot of people recommend bringing a used up gift card, etc. so that you don't have to carry your real credit card around with you.

NYCRUISR Posted November 5, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2007 I wonder if rooms in the " addition " had upgraded safes.
Merion_Mom Posted November 5, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2007 I wonder if rooms in the " addition " had upgraded safes. Enchantment aft JS (i.e., not in the new section) 12/06 had the PIN style safe.
HB Cruiser Posted November 5, 2007 #7 Share Posted November 5, 2007 I use an old Sea Pass card for my "swipe card." Tim
lori450 Posted November 5, 2007 #8 Share Posted November 5, 2007 HB - I love your signature! But I've gotta ask..why "The shortest cruise in history"? There has to be a good story behind that. And, how did you manage to go on your son's honeymoon?
Darkwolfe Posted November 5, 2007 #9 Share Posted November 5, 2007 Enchantment aft JS (i.e., not in the new section) 12/06 had the PIN style safe. Must be some variation in the all the cabins then. Our aft JS had the mag stripe type in it two weeks ago.
hunnypot1 Posted November 5, 2007 #10 Share Posted November 5, 2007 Were any of you in #7666 (corner aft JS)?
7nucruzers Posted November 5, 2007 #11 Share Posted November 5, 2007 We were in 8576 (new section) just last week and had the kind of safe where you had to swipe a card.
mommabean Posted November 5, 2007 #12 Share Posted November 5, 2007 Were any of you in #7666 (corner aft JS)? I've been in that suite. GREAT balcony. You'll love it. The closet it great, too. You can make a little bed on the lower shelf and have a little kid sleep in there - if you wanted to. We had a card swiping safe as we've had in all 3 JS cabins we've had on Enchantment. I wonder if they replace them with a keypad safe as they wear out. I know safes last a long time but like everything, they do fail eventually.
