Bisous3 Posted November 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2007 Sorry if this has been asked before but I am not having any luck with the "search" feature.... Can anyone tell me the different meal time frames? Most specificially breakfast as dh likes to sleep in ? On Celebrity you can get cash in the casino from your on board account. You can have them charge the amount to your account and they hand it back to you in cash. Because of this I never worry about not having enough cash on me when I cruise. I don't like to carry a lot on me as I have had my purse stolen twice so I am a bit paranoid with that. Do I have this option on NCL? Thanks everyone! We are really looking forward to our first NCL experience. We are hardcore X cruisers and love that line, but let me tell you I started packing and it was so nice to not worry about dressing up at night! We leave Friday!! woohoo!!! The Pearl (as all NCL ships) has Freestyle dining. The Garden Restaurant (buffet style) is open at 7am (but you can get coffee (expresso also) at anytime). The breakfast continues into lunch and then continues into dinner. There is also an outside buffet that opens at 8 am. You can also sit down to breakfast and be served in a couple of the other restaurants. You can wear practically anything to the buffets, but in the restaurants you must wear a minimun of good jeans. I believe you can get upto $2000 a day in the casino but we don't gamble so never got specific details.
Bisous3 Posted November 13, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted November 13, 2007 Thanks JimC- but do you know about what time they actually stop serving breakfast and start serving lunch?
CRUZIN TOM Posted November 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2007 If I remember correctly, breakfast ends about 10:30-11:00 am. they close off the lines for food. All the dining areas stay open so you can get your food and eat at the tables. Lunch starts at 11:30. It is ropped offuntil then. Now this is in the buffet areas. I have never eaten in the main restaurants, takes too long to eat there. Yes you can get up to $2000.00 cash per day at the cashiers window. they will ask if its for slots or tables. If you make the mistake and say tables, they will give you a pices of paper to take to the tables, they will then turn it into chips. A pain, but its still money. It comes off as a credit card charge not a cash advance. Do not use the ATM. They have one of those in the casino also.:)

garycarla Posted November 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 13, 2007 yes, the casino does offer cash charged to your onboard account. No fee. You will have to tell them you play SLOTS vs table games, else you will get chips

fllchick Posted November 13, 2007 #8 Share Posted November 13, 2007 We're just us two, both of us are 40. I have brown hair pretty much always in a ponytail, and during the day my husband is always wearing a baseball hat. And we'll be in the casino at night!!
