What are the good and bad points on Docking at Pier B in Key West....

No bad points at all....................you can walk right into town from there..........very convenient location...............

The good....it's very close to downtown and one block away from Duval Street. The bad......can't think of anything bad.

 

The only bad mooring is the Outer Mole, where people have to shuttle downtown.

I didn't know if know if you had to take the shuttle or not from pier B, Thanks for the info. Been to Key West a hundred times or more never on a cruise.

Nope,no shuttle from there........:)

 

We have also been to KW lots..........this past time we took the trolley and learned things we didnt know.......interesting driver,I might add..;)

Yep, have a friend that drives the train in the winter gives us free rides when were down and he's working.

but seeing you're on the EN,you'll also be at the same pier.........Im pretty sure all RCCL ships use that one(if there is only one RCCL in town).............I have only seen Carnival at the OM...................

Was a great place to "park". So handy to downtown shopping! We loved Key West... took the bike tour... was great... got to really see the town and got a little exercise. Was too easy of a bike tour for us - but good for all ages and experience!

We will be in town on the Grandeur on 12/31 and will be using OM. A Disney ship will be using the good pier.

Pier B is also known as the Westin Pier, formerly Hilton Pier. It is right behind the big red Customs House.
