Beach Question for Barbados

We are looking for a relaxing day at the beach and you mentioned three in another post, Rockley or Batts or Mullins. Do you favor one over the other. I think I will be adventorous and use the bus system. More flavor of the island.

You should consider them in this order

1. Rockley/Accra(nice)

2. Mullins(kinda far away)

3. Batts Rock (kinda local-no facilities!)

Frankly, I'd go no further than No.1

and yes you can bus it to Rockley easily and quickly.

Tell the driver you want to get off at Chefette Rockley

and bang you're on the spot!

You can also bus it back to the Port

by hopping on the next ZR(license plate) minivan

and really get local flavour :)

Hi,

My husband and I are active seniors who would enjoy a quiet, relaxing day at a resort where we could have a nice lunch and then lounge on the beach. Can you suggest a resort that issues day passes for cruisers? Or should we just grab a cab and go to Rockley? Thank you.:)
