Sled Dog Camps..any info appreciated

I'll be cruising to Alaska on the Rhapsody of the Seas leaving June 27. :) I want to go Dog sledding with my daughter and 5 1/2 yr old granddaughter. There's Musher's Camp in Skagway, and there is a Musher's Camp in Juneau, and Sheep Creek Dog Camp in Juneau. I'm not sure which one is the best to do. Has anyone done any of these or know anything about them. I do know the ride is on a wooded trail and not snow...:( ..but I would think it should still be fun. Thanks for any help!

I have gone out of Skagway, several years ago.

 

I would pick the cheapest. :)

 

What else are you doing in Skagway??? If you get a car rental, there is the option to get an extremely scenic drive then stop at Caribou Crossing which also has a cart ride.

We have done the dog musher's camp in Skagway and loved it!

We did the dog mushers camp in Skagway. It was fun although the ride was shorter than I would have liked. My 17 year old daughter and 16 year old son LOVED playing with the puppies and seeing all of the dogs. Your granddaughter will love it!
