Lido pool use on Alaska cruise

We will be on the Westerdam for the May 11 Alaska cruise. We are travelling with a child and wondering about activities.

She really enjoys swimming. While I know the lido pool will be covered, is it warm enough for her to swim in?

Yes the Lido pool in the middle of the ship is covered!! Is it warm enough?? Some ships - Yes -- others - No. Hard to tell.

On the Volendam last June in Alaska the Lido was being used by a few swimmers and they said the water temperature was fine. We layed on the chaise lounges and read with the roof cover open one day and other days it was closed due to inclement weather. No matter what Hal ship your on it is a cruise of a lifetime. Enjoy
