Question about Eurodam Schedule

topspot

Recommended Posts

Was curious about prices for different cabins so was checking pricing of Eurodam for November 2009 and I get this error message for all November sailings:

Sailing is not valid (Advisory 5214)

Could it be that the Eurodam has been chartered for the entire month? Did not get this error for the Westerdam or Massdam.

Very strange

I've been getting a variety of error mesages, yesterday and today, for Eurodam sailings in October, November, and December of 2009. I suspect it's a website problem - have heard they do their updates over the weekends. I'd say try again on Monday.

In the meantime, I've been getting information from the online travel agency sites.

I hope that the system opens up later today or tomorrow. I am hoping to book the Eurodam this year to celebrate my 20th anniversary. We were fortunate enough to sail on the Zuiderdam about 3 years ago and it was one of the best trips of our life.

Someone posted that they phoned and HAL is in the process of renumbering the cabins. Remember, this ship is still being built.
I think what they are doing this weekend is correcting the reservation system to match the current (12/15/07) deck plan room numbering.

Oops, I meant November 2008 (not 2009).

If it is as simple as renumbering cabins, that would make sense. I was worried due to all the talk of charting that the maybe something else was going on.

Someone said that the new numbering was needed because a "V" category was added. But, that category is already listed in a brochure I have had for many months.
The brochure you have "had for many months" is outdated. There are many cabin designation changes on the plans now posted on the HAL site (since 12/15/07). For example, your brochure probably shows deck 10 as the Observation Deck, with cabins V10007 to V10032. That deck is now called the Panorama Deck, and has cabins VQ10007 to VQ10046.

I thought there was a name change. Is the deck with the Crows Nest now the Observation Deck?
