Sorry Tef, I don't think the arbitration clause in the contract is enforceable in some states. I'm not an attorney, but I play one on tv.
My bad. Here I thought you had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. :p

Last month I sailed on the Holiday, and one of the bartenders did stop serving to a man that had a few to many. Also I really didn't see anyone getting out of hand or leaving a trail behind them, and this is coming from someone who didn't drink. I know that our table mates said, in the night club a couple of younger people were getting out of hand and security stepped in and removed them. From what I saw, CCL does try and watch over there ships and stop things from getting out of control.
I would have stayed in the Holiday Inn Express, but they didn't have a bar!
Hi Bonnie! We have been kicked out of better bars & casinos too.....haven't we?? Thought about you last weekend when we were in Nola partying for my bday. Would love to see you again. Maybe someday we will.
I can't believe you all miss the boat (ship that is) on this one. It's simple, It's the children that allow their parents to drink and behave like they do!

You would think that the children would control their parents more. It's disgraceful. I think we ought to have a ship for children only. The parents are getting out of hand.

I cruise for a nice quite vacation and then these children have to bring their parents along and just let them run amok!

Somebody needs to talk to these children who think that they can turn their parents loose and it's somebody else's problem.:p :p :p :p
Sounds like an LSU football game.

Well, if you ever find me drunk and passed out so you have to walk over me, then I'd definitely blame it on the children and their parents.... I wouldn't drink like that if I didn't need to escape them and their behaviors allowed by the parents!! :) :)

Always manage to 'maintain'...not be obnoxious, or whatever...and stumble to my cabin / sans help...I am respectful in the halls, and KNOW 80%+ are doing the same.

I can't figure out how to set this up as a poll, so let's just hear your opinions. We have heard all about how children should or shouldn't be on cruises and who is responsible for their behavior, who do you think is responsible for the stumbling drunks?

Is it:

A) Parents of the good children
B) Parents of the bad children
C) Passengers with no children
D) CCL
E) The drunks themselves.

Feel free to add any other possibilities.
Well if the stumbling drunks are under 21 and traveling with their parents then the parents are to blame. If they are old drunks then they have no one but themself to blame. UNLESS you want to blame the bartender who should have cut them off when they had too much.

I can't see any way to blame CCL though. How would they effectively police this 100%? Cameras in the cabins? Spies in the elevators? Ick.

Hey Brenda! I see you on the boards every now and then. So, how drunk was I on our cruise? Between me and my evil twin sister, I think we might have taken the drunkest award on the Conquest for that sailing date. I hope to take it again on the Spirit in February. (Everyone needs goals!)

Dick Cheney stated todat that John Kerry was responsible for all drunks - drinking to forget Democratic policies.

On the same note Al Gore annouced he inventing getting drunk on cruise ships.
