Booking while sailing

Has anyone ever booked their next cruise while sailing on their cruise? I was wondering if there are any benefits to booking a cruise while on a cruise?

Hi, just got off the legend on Sunday and sometime midweek, there was a note in my box. If I put down a deposit of $100.00 on a future cruise of my choice, they would give me $100.00 obc. We filled out form and dropped at pursers desk. The next day, had my confirmation of deposit and obc. You have 18 months to book it. Never had this happen at any of my other carnival cruises, so don't know if it is new or not. HOpe this helps, Cindy

This has come up a few times over the past couple of months.

 

This opportunity is only available on a few ships. It seems Carnival is trying this out on a limited basis rather than implement it fleet-wide.

 

Had it been available when I was on the Miracle in December, I would've booked something then. It wasn't, and I'm still sitting here trying to make a decision!

Thanks for the information. I tried to use the search function but never works when I use it. I remember seeing a thread about this subject but now I can't find it. I will have to search through again.
