Anyone tried their services in Key West before and what did you think?? http://www.dolphinwatchusa.com/information.html Thanks! I stole this from Mike Mongo whom I trust... Dolphin Encounter trips are quite amazing, nonetheless. And there are a number I can quite conscientiously recommend: Sunny Days's Dolphin Cat, Dolphin Watch aboard the Patty C, and the Java Cat Charters. These are ALL reputable operators with captains and crews of such expertise and professionalism you are practically guaranteed the quality of experience you are looking to provide for you daughter. They are all imminently affordable, as well, each offering unique combinations of amenities, provisions, and opportunities. Here are the links. Aquahound Posted March 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2008 I'm not aware of any of these companies actually allowing you to swim with the wild dolphins. The snorkling is separate and in a different area. The laws about "harrassing" marine mammals are pretty strict in the U.S. Just North of Marathon, the Dolphin Research Center, and Theater of the Sea in Islamorada allow you to swim with captive dolphins. But those places are too far to travel for cruise guests.
