mconthehighseas Posted September 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2004 I read in the note posted from Capt. Marvin's that planes and boats with supplies were arriving. Does anyone know where we can send goods so that they will get to Cayman?

montgomeryfamily Posted September 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2004 In Houston, relief supplies are being collected at the Cayman Airlines location at IAH and Cayman Airlines is taking the supplies to Grand Cayman at no charge. Channel 11 has been featuring some information about this and you could call them or Cayman Airlines for more specific information. The humane society in Houston is also sponsoring a relief drive for the pets that are there and those supplies are also being taken to Cayman Airlines and transported without charge. Again you can drop off directly at Cayman Airlines or you could contact the humane society for more information. In addition to supplies, they are collecting transport kennels so that pets can be flown out and their owners don't have to leave them behind. mconthehighseas Posted September 24, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Kathy, thank you SO much. I have some emergency candles and cat food, and did not want to mail them to Miami unless I had to. Since I live south of Houston, it will be a bit of a drive, but a drive is better than a hurricane!
